My name is Miranda Jones, and Mermaid Design is my company. I have been a production designer since 1993, and before that, an assistant to some of the best in the business. I have over 16 years experience in the industry. My range of television work covers all genres. I also design and dress venues for PR, advertising and private functions.

I design to your budget and manage the costs throughout the project lifecycle.

My work has been highlighted in industry publications (BROADCAST, and Ariel), on television programmes (GMTV, Blue Peter, Xchange, and backstage on BBC Choice), and on radio interviews. I was also featured in a section of the BBC website devoted to helping those interested in seeking a career in television.

After completing a degree in 3 dimensional design, I initially trained with the BBC. My early work was mostly for them, but as my reputation grew, I now design for all channels and independent TV & PR production companies.
