Later... with Jools Holland is shot in the round in front of a live audience. An eclectic mix of music styles which demands subtlety and variety in the sets to fit the mood of the music. I designed the sets for 13 series.

In earlier series I was given the budget to design sets specific to the bands that were to appear. Many bands were so pleased with theirs, they took them for their own gigs. For example this Metallica set went on their UK tour.

In later series the budgets were tighter, so I kept the costs down by utilising stock shapes in a variety of ways.
